The "8" shape is very easy to cut into a piece of plywood by using just a hole saw. Making this shape is the key to using the realistic inset system or making your own pods to hold the insets.

Below are the steps necessary to construct screw-ons using 3/8" plywood.

For 3/4" thick pod 8's the procedure is the same.
